I recently finished listening to this book on my ipod while doing yard work. Well done. For anyone who has read the Mitford series by Jan Karon, you will enjoy this prequel about Father Tim Kavanagh's childhood and hometown of Holly Springs, Mississippi. Thirty-eight years has passed since he left his hometown, determined not to return. Now he is drawn back by an unsigned note that arrives in the mail. It says only, "Come home". He decides to make the journey to try and discover where the note originated and why.
